These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of decodingtech.io and any inquiry, consultation, or project work with Decoding Tech ("we," "us," or "our"). By submitting our contact form or using this website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Who we are

Decoding Tech is a Florida-based software studio. We design and build custom software for small and mid-sized businesses. Questions: cai@decodingtech.io.

The website

This site is for information and inquiries. We may update copy, examples, and pricing descriptions at any time. Case studies describe real work, but results vary by project.

The $50 consultation

Requesting a consultation through our form is an inquiry, not a signed project contract.

• The consultation is $50 for 45 minutes with Cai Cruz, a founder.
• If we work together on a project, that $50 is credited toward your project.
• Submitting the form does not guarantee we will take the work. If we are not a fit, we will say so.
• After the consultation, we prepare a custom quote based on scope. No production work starts until both sides agree in writing.

Project work

If you hire us, the written proposal or contract for that project controls. In general:

• Pricing and timeline depend on scope. Most projects run 6 to 16 weeks, but can be shorter or longer.
• Once the project is paid for, you own the custom code and design we build for you.
• On a case-by-case basis we may include proprietary components, such as our lead generator engine. If we do, we will specify that in your contract.
• You are responsible for providing timely feedback, access, and accurate information we need to do the work.

Marketing communications

If you check the marketing box on our form, you agree we may email you about Decoding Tech services, project follow-ups, and occasional updates that are not strictly about the inquiry you just sent.

• We will not sell your email address.
• You can unsubscribe at any time by using the link in an email or by writing to cai@decodingtech.io.
• Even if you skip marketing emails, we may still contact you about the consultation or project you requested. That contact is part of responding to your inquiry, not optional marketing.

Acceptable use

Do not use this website or our form to send unlawful, abusive, or misleading content, or to attempt to disrupt the site.

Limitation of liability

The website and inquiry form are provided as is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Decoding Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or from an inquiry that does not result in a signed project. Project liability, if any, is set in the written contract for that project.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
